What this page is. The Fed’s own weekly statement, not a policy-rate page and not a cross-central-bank comparison. Rates and money-market prints live on conditions; the five-central-bank level-versus-GDP comparison lives on central banks. This route stays with the H.4.1 Wednesday levels and names the exact tables and line items in the methodology.

Assets

Treasuries and agency MBS still dominate the Fed’s asset side

Weekly Wednesday levels in USD trillions from 2002 through 2026. Total assets were $6.75T on Jul 22, 2026. Of that, $4.52T sat in U.S. Treasury securities and $1.94T in mortgage-backed securities. Loans plus the surviving Main Street LLC holdings and central-bank liquidity swaps were $5.96B; every remaining asset line is collected in the residual other-assets bucket so the displayed legs add back to total assets exactly.

Liabilities

Reserve balances anchor the selected lines alongside currency, reverse repo and the TGA

Weekly Wednesday levels in USD trillions. Reserve balances were $3.06T on Jul 22, 2026, against $2.47T of table 1 currency in circulation, $352.70B of reverse repo, and $835.42B in the Treasury General Account. Reserve balances are the stock left with Federal Reserve Banks; the other three selected lines are factors that absorb reserve funds. Currency in circulation is the table 1 factor, not the table 5 Federal Reserve notes liability. Together the selected lines are not the whole liability side.
